Every project we undertake begins with a shared vision, and we’re proud to be making excellent progress on one of our most exciting hospitality developments to date – the construction of the new Woodman’s Cabins at Wildhive Eshott Hall in Northumberland.
As work continues on site, it’s rewarding to see these beautifully designed cabins begin to take shape, marking another important milestone in the transformation of this unique countryside destination.
Wildhive is creating a collection of distinctive places to stay that celebrate the UK’s hidden gems while championing sustainability, local communities and authentic experiences. Eshott Hall embodies that vision, combining the character of a historic country estate with thoughtfully designed accommodation that encourages guests to slow down and reconnect with nature.
We are proud to have been appointed to construct a collection of one and two-bedroom Woodman’s Cabins, each carefully positioned within the landscape to offer guests a private and peaceful woodland escape. Designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, every cabin will feature its own private deck, hidden outdoor bath and swinging seat, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the surrounding Northumberland countryside.
Construction is now well underway, with the cabins beginning to emerge from the landscape and the vision for the development becoming increasingly tangible.
Our team of talented carpenters and specialist tradespeople have been working closely with the wider project partners to ensure every stage of the build is delivered to the highest standards. From the structural installation through to the finer construction details, careful planning and quality craftsmanship remain at the heart of everything we do.
As with all Boon projects, attention to detail is paramount. Building within a sensitive natural setting requires thoughtful construction methods and close collaboration to minimise disruption while delivering an exceptional end result.
The woodland cabins form part of a wider redevelopment of Eshott Hall that will create a truly unique hospitality destination. Alongside the new accommodation, the former stables are being transformed into six guest bedrooms, including accessible and dog-friendly rooms, while The Coach House will provide guests with a dedicated wellness space featuring a gym, treatment rooms and outdoor treatment pods.
Together, these carefully considered spaces will offer visitors an opportunity to experience luxury hospitality in a setting that celebrates the surrounding landscape.
