The Pigsty at Pitt
In September 2019 boon completed its inaugural building project at Vale Farm, Pitt on the outskirts of Winchester. The Pigsty was launched for luxury overnight stays and it has been fully booked ever since. Guests shed the stress of the city and relax in a private belt of woodland set deep within a 600-acre farm all to themselves. The Pigsty at Pitt is a beautiful creation, with a domed, corrugated steel roof, reclaimed timber throughout, double-glazed steel French doors and windows, a fully fitted kitchen, a roll-top bath and reclaimed cast iron radiators.
The Pigsty has since been voted Airbnb’s most ‘wish-listed’ stay for 2021 and is fully booked most of the year.

We worked closely with our clients at Vale Farm to keep the specification exactly as they liked. Tweaks are made throughout the project, so it’s a pretty personal affair. We took architectural cues from the surrounding barns and natural environment and incorporated them into the design, enabling us to seamlessly merge the hard lines of steel with the softness of wood. The Pigsty has since been voted Airbnb’s most ‘wish-listed’ stay for 2021 and is fully booked most of the year.
